I was born in 1962 in Paris. Very young, I was interested in violin making and I left in 1978 for Cremona (Italy), home of STRADIVARI, to the international violin making school and was a student of Ricardo BERGONZI.
In 1982, I chose to enter the Parma school, under the direction of Maestro Rénato SCROLLAVEZZA, where I graduated in 1986.
Back in France, I did an internship in the VATELOT workshop, under the direction of Jean-Jacques RAMPAL, then I worked for Bernard KAIGRE luthier, established in Brest.
In 1990, I set out on my own and opened my first manufacturing workshop in Paimpol, in Brittany. I produced instruments sold throughout France and in particular for the musicians of the Nantes baroque orchestra, STRADIVARIA.
Specializing in baroque instruments, I produced a violin bass for the principal cellist of “Arts Florissant”, David SIMPSON and a bass winner of the “cello on stage” competition in Paris in 2012, purchased by the national conservatory superior of the city of Lyon.
